Mae ein cwrs TAR Uwchradd mewn Cymraeg wedi’i gynllunio i roi’r sgiliau a’r wybodaeth sydd eu hangen arnoch i ddod yn athro Cymraeg llwyddiannus, gan eich galluogi i gael Statws Athro Cymwysedig (SAC).

Fel rhan o’n rhaglen Addysg Gychwynnol Athrawon (AGA), bydd y cwrs hwn yn eich paratoi i addysgu’r Gymraeg fel iaith gyntaf neu ail iaith mewn ysgolion uwchradd.

Byddwch yn archwilio ffyrdd effeithiol a chreadigol o addysgu’r Gymraeg, gan ddefnyddio technegau arloesol sy’n ennyn diddordeb myfyrwyr ac yn hyrwyddo cariad at yr iaith. Mae’r cwrs yn cynnwys sgiliau addysgu iaith hanfodol, gan gynnwys cynllunio gwersi, asesu cynnydd myfyrwyr, a defnyddio technoleg i gefnogi dysgu iaith.

Trwy gyfuniad o astudio yn y brifysgol a lleoliadau gwaith, byddwch yn cael profiad ymarferol mewn amrywiaeth o leoliadau addysgol, gan gynnwys ysgolion trefol, gwledig a chyfrwng Cymraeg. Bydd y lleoliadau hyn yn eich galluogi i ddefnyddio eich dysgu mewn amgylcheddau addysgu yn y byd go iawn, gan eich helpu i fagu hyder a datblygu eich arddull addysgu.

Yn ogystal â datblygu eich sgiliau addysgu iaith, mae’r cwrs hefyd yn canolbwyntio ar sgiliau addysgol ehangach, fel rheoli ystafell ddosbarth a chefnogi myfyrwyr ag anghenion amrywiol. Bydd cefnogaeth mentoriaid drwy gydol y cwrs yn helpu i arwain eich datblygiad fel athro.

Erbyn diwedd y rhaglen, byddwch yn barod i ysbrydoli’r genhedlaeth nesaf o siaradwyr Cymraeg, gan helpu i warchod a hyrwyddo’r iaith Gymraeg a diwylliant Cymraeg mewn ysgolion ledled Cymru.

Mae cymorth ariannol ar gael drwy fwrsariaethau ac ysgoloriaethau. Mae’r cwrs hwn wedi’i nodi gan Lywodraeth Cymru fel maes pwnc â blaenoriaeth uchel, ac mae bwrsariaethau o £15,000 ar gael.

Mae’r TAR yn rhaglen academaidd a phroffesiynol amser llawn a chynhwysfawr a luniwyd i’ch paratoi am yrfa lwyddiannus yn addysgu. Mae’r rhaglen yn cwmpasu 36 wythnos, gydag oddeutu 12 wythnos o ddarpariaeth yn y brifysgol ac o leiaf 24 wythnos mewn ysgolion.
