Mae ein llwybr TAR Uwchradd Saesneg yn rhaglen Addysg Gychwynnol Athrawon (AGA) arloesol gan arwain at Statws Athro Cymwysedig (SAC). Mae’r cwrs yn cyfuno hyfforddiant dan arweiniad y brifysgol â lleoliadau dan arweiniad ysgolion i baratoi athrawon Saesneg effeithiol. Cewch wybodaeth gynhwysfawr am y cwricwlwm a byddwch yn datblygu sgiliau mewn addysgeg ac arfer adfyfyriol.
Cewch brofiad o addysgu mewn sefydliadau amrywiol, gan gynnwys lleoliadau trefol a gwledig, ac ysgolion cyfrwng Cymraeg. Mae profiad addysgu proffesiynol (PAP) a chymorth mentoriaid yn elfennau allweddol, gan sicrhau datblygiad cynhwysfawr.
Mae’r rhaglen yn pwysleisio pwysigrwydd Saesneg wrth helpu pobl ifanc i ddod yn gyfathrebwyr hyderus, adfyfyriol a chymwys. Mae cymorth ariannol ar gael drwy fwrsariaethau ac ysgoloriaethau.
Modules
Mae’r TAR yn rhaglen academaidd a phroffesiynol amser llawn a chynhwysfawr a luniwyd i’ch paratoi am yrfa lwyddiannus yn addysgu. Mae’r rhaglen yn cwmpasu 36 wythnos, gydag oddeutu 12 wythnos o ddarpariaeth yn y brifysgol ac o leiaf 24 wythnos mewn ysgolion.

Datblygu Sgiliau Ymchwil: Byddwch yn datblygu sgiliau ymchwil beirniadol sy’n hanfodol ar gyfer arfer adfyfyriol a datblygiad proffesiynol parhaus.
Llwybr Proffesiynol ar gyfer Statws Athro Cymwysedig (SAC): Mae’r llwybr hwn yn sicrhau eich bod yn bodloni’r safonau proffesiynol sy’n ofynnol ar gyfer SAC.
Llwybr Datblygu’r Gymraeg: Byddwch yn gwella’ch gallu i addysgu a chyfathrebu yn y Gymraeg, sgil gwerthfawr yn ein system addysg ddwyieithog.
Pontio: Gweithgareddau sy’n integreiddio damcaniaeth yn ddi-dor â chymhwyso’n ymarferol, gan atgyfnerthu eich profiad dysgu.
Profiadau dewisol: Dewiswch brofiad yn yr ysgol mewn maes o ddiddordeb i ddyfnhau eich arbenigedd a’ch sgiliau ymarferol.
Lleoliad Amgen: Cewch fewnwelediad drwy brofi lleoliadau addysg tu allan i ysgolion traddodiadol, megis amgylcheddau addysg arbennig.

Top job areas of graduates
English is one of the most popular degree subjects and in 2015, more than 11,000 students graduated with English degrees - although this does represent a fall from recent years. As good communication is so important to modern business, you can find English graduates in all parts of the economy, although obviously, you can't expect to get a job in science or engineering (computing is a different matter - it's not common but good language skills can be useful in the computing industry). There's little difference in outcomes between English language and English literature degrees, so don't worry and choose the one that suits you best. More English grads took another postgraduate course when they finished their degree than grads from any other subject - this is an important option. Teacher training was a common choice of second degree, as was further study of English, and journalism courses. But many English graduates changed course and trained in law, marketing or other languages -or even subjects further afield such as computing, psychology and even nursing. This is a very flexible degree which gives you a lot of options
