- They are very good at supporting and raising awareness for all sorts of issues, and putting on many events for everyone to get involved in. The student bar is good, though as I am by the other campus it is a bit of a pain to get to. There are so many unique and diverse societies to get involved with, that have made socialising and making friends really easy. I feel like I have good friends and a strong sense of community thanks to these societies.

- The nightlife is very good in Nottingham, there is a lot to do and something for everyone. It is not too difficult to get from my accommodation into the city centre, though coming back late at night can be difficult as there is no night bus (again, no fault of the university). The area I live in can be quite rough — two students were murdered on my street last year which made me very anxious about moving. However, so far I have experienced no problems.
