Are you interested in Business and Management and want to help shape a better future? Our course, based at Carmarthen campus, is designed to prepare you for a career in a rapidly changing global environment. You will learn how responsible business can drive positive change in social, cultural, environmental, and economic areas.
This programme will deepen your understanding of organisations, their management, the economy, and the business environment. You’ll develop essential professional skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and reflection. Our course encourages a forward-thinking and innovative approach, helping you understand the impact of actions and how both business and society can adapt for sustainable futures.
You’ll explore key areas like social justice, ethics, and well-being and see how these relate to business and management. Our aim is to help you become a global citizen who contributes to a sustainable world through your career and personal life.
Throughout your studies, you will gain digital skills and analytical skills, learn about marketing, human resource management, and leadership. You will also delve into management practice, organisational behaviour, and business operations. Topics like corporate strategy, supply chain management, and accounting will also be covered to ensure you have a well-rounded understanding of the field.

Assessment methods
The BA Business and Management programme is assessed by a combination of innovative and more traditional methods which are designed to develop students’ understanding, problem-solving and creative thinking during their three years of study.
Assessments are closely linked to learning activities, where students build understanding and skills in weekly sessions and are able to learn from formative assessment throughout the programme.
