- The lecturers for this course (mostly) are absolutely amazing. They all seem incredibly passionate about their subject, and most are very engaging. They'll also tell you about their current research which is really interesting. There's a large amount of new content online, that involves pre recorded lectures you have to do in your own time, especially in the second term, which may be an issue if you prefer in person lectures? But personally I prefer this. There are still weekly sessions for each module though, with some of these being new content, and some being general questions/going over the previous weeks content. There's also 1-2 practicals every week which is amazing. We get to go to local places in Cornwall, as well as work in the lab. All lectures are also recorded! So if you miss a lecture, it's very easy to catch up

- I haven't accessed the welfare support on campus BUT it is highly advertised, and there seems to be quite a lot. What I have used however, is the reports they put out before every practical. Essentially these answer every question you could possibly have, including whether or not there will be group work, if this group work is designated groups or chosen groups (which is great to know in advance if, like me, you have social anxiety), if there will be any loud noises or particular smells in an area, what EXACT equipment you need to bring, and tons more. I've found lecturers generally pretty easy to talk to - they usually reply by email within a week, there's a forum online for each module where you can ask questions to both them and other students on your course, each lecturer has office hours you can go to, and all lecturers are more than happy to answer questions during or after lectures
